After completing the Fishermen's Trail we will begin a two-week whirlwind bus and train tour of southern Spain. With stops in Seville, Granada, Córdoba, Mérida, and Salamanca, we look forward to experiencing the history, culture, cuisine, and viticulture of the region.
From Salamanca it is a short three day walk along the Via de la Plata to Zamora, our home for two weeks as volunteers at the municipal Albergue. Albergues make up about three quarters of our accommodations when we are walking so it will be nice to give back a little, before we strap on our packs and begin the Camino Sanabrés, a 400 km walk to Santiago de Compostella.
